The WOI Total Satisfaction Experience is our commitment to go over and above to ensure that our warehouse optimization projects meet customer needs and exceed their expectations. Areas of focus include meeting project timelines, ensuring a safe installation, and the overall aesthetics of the finished project. This blog series is a chance to get to know our hard-working team and learn a little more about what sets us apart. Take a moment to get to know Scott Scordas, and feel free to reach out to Scott to ask about a creative solution to your warehouse storage, space, or operational challenges.

Scott, what do you have to say about…

WOI Total Satisfaction Experience

The TSE is vital at WOI. It means that we bring the appropriate solution to our customers at a fair price. And that the project is installed safely, on time, and per OSHA safety guidelines. We simplify the project process by offering turnkey solutions. WOI is your single point of contact from the initial discussion of project specifications to the final build. We know the project’s final appearance is very important, so we make sure our clients are satisfied by paying attention to the big… and the small details.

Customer Relations

I take a consultative approach to solving material handling and structural additions to our customers’ facilities. Part of that approach is getting to know our customer contacts in multiple departments and levels of management. This way, I can understand their project expectations and what they need from us regarding solutions, and implementation schedules and details. I’m also interested in what other parts of the organization may be planning and how it might impact the project I am working on with another team.

This approach has helped with the current workforce volatility. I’ve had customers transition in and out of roles, and knowing the team and how everyone works within their hierarchy enables me to be most effective. I can keep current information in front of the right folks when transitions occur.

Interesting Projects

We are working on a current project involving integrating multiple products into an automotive production facility. The facility is over 3 million sq. ft., but the layout didn’t account for sufficient employee breakrooms. So, part of the project involves maximizing utilization of the vertical space and building climate-controlled modular breakrooms on a mezzanine work platform.

Downtime

When I’m not at work, I like to go to the gym and play golf. I also enjoy spending time with my dog and friends. What most people don’t know about me is that I enjoy participating in obstacle/mud race competitions.
