Strengthening Our Support Team – Meet Shawnna Merritt

We’re thrilled to welcome Shawnna Merritt to Warehouse Optimizers Inc as our newest Account Coordinator, based in our Knoxville HQ office!

Shawnna brings over 25 years of experience in financial, accounting, and administrative roles, having worked across a wide range of industries—from doctors’ offices and bankruptcy law firms to global corporations and close-knit, family-run businesses. She’s passionate about learning every aspect of a business to better understand operations, offer process improvement suggestions, and continually expand her skills.

In her role at WOI, Shawnna will help manage purchase orders, invoices, accounts receivable and payable, business contact information, and project records—a critical support function that keeps our business running smoothly.

What drew Shawnna to WOI is something we all value deeply—our positive, people-first team atmosphere. She appreciates our strong focus on work/life balance, where supporting one another professionally and personally is part of our culture. She’s excited to dive in, get to know our operations, and be a part of WOI’s continued growth and success.

Outside of work, Shawnna and her husband Jerry Merritt are the proud parents of five children, with four still at home, ranging from ages 9 to 21—so it’s safe to say life is never dull in the Merritt household! When they’re not busy with family life, they love spending time outdoors camping, hiking, and traveling the country with their pup Bentley in tow.
