Material Handling Solutions Wrapped into the Total Satisfaction Package 

One of the most important aspects of my job is helping customers identify their material handling needs and then providing them with cost-effective, value-added solutions. I have seen my share of unusual challenges in my 20+ years of industrial supply, sales, and customer service experience. To face them starts with listening, evaluating, and identifying the challenge in order to understand what’s at hand. Next, I get down to developing, communicating, and executing a solution to “fix it.”

One of the most interesting aspects of my work is the project installation. It’s really cool watching a project you’ve discussed and seen in writing and on paper actually come alive.

I find that it’s essential to be accessible when working within the customer’s facility. I want folks from all aspects of the operation to know who I am and that I am there to help –from the shipping docks to the CEO. If I succeed, then when a new material handling need arises, hopefully, they will think to give me a call!

Working with WOI, it is clear that our customers know we are a trusted resource. We work with our customers through the entire process; we don’t just fly in and fly out. Our team is methodical in our approach to providing value-added material handling solutions to our customers.

Picking Up Sticks & Juggling Projects 

While I genuinely enjoy my work, my wife and I have a small mini-farm where we spend our weekends just puttering around. It might be simply picking up sticks and tree limbs to burn, yet it’s still therapeutic, and there is always something to do! We also have two grandsons with whom we cannot spend enough time!

One thing that most people don’t know is that I can juggle –perhaps a skill that has come in handy while I oversee all the aspects of a customer’s project.
