While electrical conduit is smaller in diameter, generally maxes out at 4 inches on the outside, cedar poles that are used to run lines are usually 25 feet long and have a minimum top circumference of 27 inches and a bottom circumference of at least 43.5 inches. What this ultimately means is that conventional racking is not equipped to handle these items. Cantilever rack arms can also be adjusted and sized to accommodate different size and weight supply loads at different storage levels.  For outdoor storage, roof systems provide a useful cover to keep inventory free from weathering.
